Mosaic Away! (part deux)
Hello There Everyone,
You may remember, a few days ago, when I promised more mosaicy goodness. To show you my villages permanent art installation in its entirety.
Voila!

Hello There Everyone,
My hoarding capabilities have felt somewhat lacking recently, so this weekend a shopping trip was in order. Now that I’m proficient in candle making I figured I needed …. more…!
Of course, I never usually need an excuse to visit my local hobby store, but it makes me feel less guilty. It excites me when I get to make use of the skills I’ve learned from using craft kits. I’m no longer confined to the equipment included in the box. I have creative freedom.
Hello There Everyone,
Today is another day of old craft kits and memories. Along with an unfinished project screaming for completion.
It all started with a little taste. Just one tiny kit to get me started. Cue the coaster…
Hello There Everyone,
It’s been over a week since I made my declaration to ‘Box Kits’ that plague my storage. I decided it was time to open another box and get creative. Let me introduce you to The Art of Chinese Brush Painting!
Hello There Everyone,
I’ve been feeling a bit craft starved today after reading a book all weekend so, I’ve made a start on a new project. Well, it’s kind of an ongoing project that I’ve got underway. I’ve been making a friend of mine a quilt for Christmas and thought it would be nice to make her a matching cushion for her birthday which is coming up in November. A little taster of what she’ll be getting before the year is out.
Hello There Everyone,
Thank you for joining me here. Today I’d like to share with you a fond crafting memory from a few years ago. A crafting holiday actually. In the spring of 2014, a friend and I ventured to the south of France for a few days. Our goal?
Silversmithing!
Hello There Everyone,
Let me introduce you to my quilting must have’s!
Without these little guys, quilting would still be an unobtainable dream for me. In yesterday’s disaster quilt, I didn’t even have a roller cutter! I cut my blocks with scissors! (a telling tale I’m sure)
Hello There Everyone,
So, today I’m going to share with you my current crafty obsession. Back in July, I took a course at Abakhan Fabrics in North Wales. Actually, I started taking a LOT of courses. I ♥LOVE♥ taking classes and doing workshops in crafty things. I love to try things out before I commit to buying the tools needed to continue it (and I pretty much always buy the tools when they course is over).
Hello There Everyone,
So yesterday, I introduced myself and my crafty, yet fickle, nature. Today I’m going to tell you all a poorly kept secret.
Hi there everyone,
Welcome to Make. Bake. Do.
I must admit, it’s a little scary starting a blog. In the week or so running up to its creation I had so many ideas, thoughts and inspirations running through my mind. Where do I start?
